Hello!
Happy pickers at Claribes |
All things Autumn this week.
We had a lovely time helping out with the harvesting of the white grapes at Claribes. In the morning we were greeted with lots of rain, but we carried on nevertheless, complete with rain coats and wellies and it soon stopped raining, and we even saw the sun.
Ceps in the market |
A trip over to St Pardon on Saturday was beautiful and sunny, but I thought the wave was rather small. I'm not sure if my memory fails, but I'm sure it was much much bigger the last time I saw it. But what I didn't remember was the noise - silence before the wave, and a roar as it passed by. Perhaps it was bigger on Sunday? If you have bigger and better photos, I'd love to see them.
A small wave |
Lots to do next weekend with the Weekend du Patrimoine activities all around. I'm certainly looking forward to the fireworks at St Emilion.
Have a good week,
Helen
