Week 14 2013

Hello!

The clocks changed and we have had the added bonus of an Easter Monday lie-in to help ease weary bones into the early wake-up call!  The longer evenings will encourage us out into the garden and the local spring flower markets are coming along.  If you know of any spring flower fairs and markets please let me know.

Castillon was full of life this weekend – the traditional Easter fair came to town.  The biggest, scariest rides outside of DisneyLand!!  To get a feel of things have a look at these little films – thanks to KG.

Lots to do in the upcoming week, especially at the weekend.  Please let me know about any events that you hear about and I’ll add them onto the blog.

Have a good week,
Best wishes,
Helen

And finally…

The vineyards in Ste Radegonde played host to a plane which made an emergency landing on Friday of last week.  This is the photo from the Sud-Ouest newspaper, but we took a quick turn around the hillsides, but we couldn’t see where it was.  Have you seen it?  Do you know where it came down?  I’m overcome with curiosity…
