Hello!
We took off to Bordeaux to the Antiques market in Quinconces
this weekend. We used the Park and Ride
- beware the new system means you buy your ticket from the machines, not at the
carpark entrance, and only get one ticket per car.
The Christmas lights are up and the Christmas market is open
too. More than enough to keep you
occupied for a whole day… I could have stayed longer.
Whatever you do this week have a great time in the Gironde
and Dordogne regions.
Best wishes,
Helen

is in VO at Libourne Grandecran. Use your Orange 2for1 for these showings.
And finally…
Some call it Stir-up-Sunday, but I like to call it
Mix-up-Monday as that was the day I made our Christmas cake. Roughly following this
recipe I used the fruits we had dried from the garden this summer and eggs
from our hens. A very locally sourced
cake. Of course the proof of the pudding
is in the eating… all we have to do is wait!
