Ready for the off...

Who wouldn't want a pink Porsche?

Ouch!

Last weekend the sound of motor cars could be heard around and about Castillon.  I popped into the village to see what all the fuss was about! Cars everywhere! (And not a hot dog stand, coffee truck or food van in sight... they do things differently in these parts!)

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time.  They say that tomorrow the temperatures should be up in the teens!

Les Amis de la Médiathèque Quartier Latin du Bénin is a non profit making charity organization

started in september 2016

We sponsor a library in a poor aerea of Pahou ,district of Cotonou,  in Benin west Africa.

We ship books, and bring learning games, puzzles in our personal luggage.

We are now collecting money to have electric power to the library to allow the children to stay longer hours and do their homework.

Barry Scofield kindly offered to help us raising money with his singing.

We are organizing this apero with african cocktail, beer and non alcoholic beverages such as apple organic juice and coke, along with nibbles included in the 10€ ticket
