There's a new little grocers shop and coffee bar opened up in Flaujagues. Danny and Elodie, a young couple from the north of France have moved to Flaujagues with their family to take on the shop in the centre of the village.
Working with the support of the successful restaurant, Le P'tit Flaujaguais just next door, the shop is carrying local produce and general supplies. They have a daily bread delivery and you can book ahead if necessary.
Pop in and have a coffee, they have some specialty beers too. Let's support our local businesses.
Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne, have a great time.
Best wishes,
Helen

Coming up...
And finally...
Changes for the recycling bins come into effect from the 1 March:
The widening of sorting instructions means that from March 1, 2020, all packaging will go to the yellow bin or the yellow terminal. No more questions and doubts: if it's packaging, it can go to recycling. Plastic packaging is the big news. Now, the water pack wrapping, ham tray, yogurt pot ... are all to be thrown in the yellow bin. Small metal packaging such as coffee pods, blister packs of medicines, compote gourd, etc. are also now to be placed in the container for recycling.
