Coming up...

14th July is Bastille Day - the biggest national holiday of the summer.  Normally it's celebrated with fabulous firework displays.  This year some are happening, but many are cancelled. The best thing is to check with your local Mairie to find out if they are going ahead.  My favourite in Castillon has been postponed.

And Finally... Calling all knitters...

Catherine Severo is holding a weekly knitting club in Castillon.  She is the owner of the upholstery,  textile and wool shop in the centre of Castillon, (in the building that used to be CastiPrix).  Each Wednesday afternoon, her large, bright workspace welcomes knitters of all ages.  If you are a beginner there is plenty of experience to help you tackle those knotty problems.
