Hello!
The beautiful sunny days continue. We had a lovely day in Bordeaux at the festival of new wines and antiques. The streets in the Chartrons were bursting with people out and about, enjoying the event. There was live music groups dotted along the streets! I just love the double bass...
Halloween is upon us this weekend, so lots of spooky events in the region.
Whatever you do in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, keep enjoying the fabulous weather and have a great week.
Best wishes,
Helen

Coming up...
1 November is Toussaints. It is a catholic holy day and in France it's a public holiday and a
time when families visit cemeteries to remember and honour their
deceased relatives. It's traditional for families to put a pot of
chrysanthemums on the graves of their family for la Fete de la
Toussaint.
And finally...
Don't forget to change your clocks on Saturday night. We gain the hour, so lighter in the morning, but those evenings will be drawing in.
