Hello!
It's autumn, and I love hedgehogs. Come and make a hedgehog pencil holder from clay in the pottery workshop in Sauveterre this weekend - Saturday 12th November.
If you have a ceramic project in mind to make for Christmas, don't delay to book a session before the end of November... clay is a slow (and mindful) activity and will need to be completed by the end of November to be sure to have it fired before Christmas.
Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time.
Best wishes,
Helen
Week 45
11 November - Jour Ferie in France - Armistice Day, on each November 11th, France pays tribute to fighters and victims of the First World War. You will probably see that the monument to fallen soldiers in your town or village will have a wreath placed there and many places have a small ceremony at 11 am. Find out a little more about the history here.
13 November
Coming up...
And finally...
Isn't this the joy of French living...?
