Hello!
I love fireworks! And
these were the fireworks from Castillon on 14 July. We stood on the end on the bridge and we were
so close to the fireworks that it was like they were just for us…
This one is for my Mum... |
We also went to the vide greniers in Castillon and I saw
this interesting collection on one of the stands.
Hopefully by now, you will have seen the new page, especially
for the Night Markets which are becoming a popular way to spend your evening (and
no arguing about what to eat, and who will do the washing up…) If you hear of any more, then please let me
know and I’ll put them onto the page.
Keep an eye on the Night Market page as it will be updated and the
changes may not make their way onto the Newsletter page.
Have a great week – the Battle of Castillon starts this
weekend, and it’s easy to buy your tickets online, or pop into the office in
Castillon, just next to the church.
Best wishes,
Helen

Coming up…
And finally…
hello, this may seem abit random but a friend i work with (julia sutton) recommended your website (good work by the way) when i told her i was visiting Port Sainte Foy in a few weeks and i thought i'd ask if you could suggest anywhere to visit or if there are any events on at the time we are there, which will be the 2nd-16th august. thank you in advance if you are able to help, elaine.
ReplyDeleteHello Elaine,
ReplyDeleteYou should absolutely try and go to the Battle of Castillon, it's an amazing show with a huge cast and fabulous lights and special effects. There are plenty of night markets and the one in Ste Foy always has good live music. One other thing I always recommend is to go kayaking on the Dordogne.
If you need any more ideas just get in touch,
Helen
