Hello!
There are 2 things that you really should try and do before
summers out! First – have you been to
the Battle of Castillon, this year it’s been besieged with setbacks from the
turbulent weather and this weekend sees the last performances of 2014. So, don’t
miss out – check out the information http://www.batailledecastillon.com/

The second thing is a Night Market. This year they have been great fun with a
mouth watering selection of dishes to choose from – the mussels with lemon and
cream in Castillon are delicious. So if
you haven’t managed to get to one yet, find your local one and gather together
some glasses, cutlery and a few napkins and go out to join one.

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne
regions have a great week.
Best wishes,
Helen

Les Zoulous in the hamlet of Les
Gatinaux (24610) have started a small circus aimed mainly for children www.letheatredeszoulous.fr
Check it out.
We went to the inaugural performance
yesterday afternoon, it was professional, slick and imaginative. A lovely
way to pass an afternoon. Performances are Thursday to Sunday from
14.00 to 18.00 . She has lots of additional animals who are penned round
the big top and are all pattable. Also available a small refreshment area.
Mirelle, our neighbour is available
for bookings on 06 18 05 81 36.
As she presents spectaculars at
schools etc. during term time, this theatre is scheduled to run all of August.
