Week 38 2017

Hello!

Les Journees Europeennes Patrimoine - European Heritage Days are this weekend,16 - 17 September.  All around the country there are events and activities supporting the stories of our European heritage.  If you know of something near you, please let me know.  The Churches and other historic monuments around France are open and free to visit.  This includes the Monolithic Church in St Emilion which is usually closed except for tours.

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time and don't forget your umbrella!
Best wishes
Helen

Coming up...

Curry Lovers ...We've fixed a date for Port St Foy. Tuesday 3rd of October. Here's the menu. There is a choice of starter (or both if you're feeling hungry). I can also do a veggie Balti if you'd prefer, just let me know when you book. If you'd like to join us please send a mail to secretcurryclubdordogne@gmail.com or you can call 06 84 35 42 73. We've been off doing other stuff this summer, so it will be good to catch up with you. Hopefully we'll see you there.

And finally...

If you can't wait until October for a curry hit, there's always Ela's Vegetarian Indian Cuisine

Find her on Facebook.  We were lucky enough to be invited by friends to share in a wonderful Indian feast.  Ring up Ela, make your selections for the following week and then pick them up, all ready to eat at home! Delicious... the potato bites and the vegetable curry were my favourites, but I was hard pushed to make a choice!
Thank you DB &JM for inviting us.
