Hello!

The Vino Voce festival returns to Saint-Émilion for the 4th time from the 8th to the 10th September.  For the full programme go here and for further information in English go here.

And last minute: A British Choir Summer School are having a short concert, Friday 8 September 17h in the church at St Marcel du Perigord 24510.  All Welcome and free admission.

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time, and if you're back to school or work after the holidays - good luck!

Saturday 9 September

9 September : Medoc Marathon!  They say it's the longest marathon in the world! We've watched it before, competitors dress up in costume and there's just as much to do for the spectators as those running (or taking part...) Find out more here

 
9 September : A day of events at Chateau Puyfromage, Saint Cibard.

9 September 11h : Presentation for the Vino Voce festival in St Emilion at the Salle Gothique

9 September : Celebrate the River and the Mascaret (the Bore) as it wooshes up the estuary at Vayres.

9 September 11h : Vernisage at the Coeur de Bastide in Ste Foy for the photo exhibition Elles by Florent Picaud.

9 September 14h : This looks like fun - The Racing Waiters!  Children and adults race with their trays in Place Abel Surchamp in Libourne!  Open to all and everyone gets a gift!  See the Facebook page here.

9 September 15h - 23h : Brocante Vide grenier in Ste Florence. This is interesting as it's semi nocturne and shares the event with a night market!

9 September 20h30 : Concert for the Vino Voce festival in St Emilion at the Salle des Dominicains.

9 September 21h : 80s Concert in Monsegur.

10 September : Grande Brocante in St Michel, Bordeaux

10 September : Vide Greniers in Saint Medard en Jalles
