Week 12 2018

Hello!
The Battle of Castillon Association held their breath this week.  They were lead to understand that a new decree from the Ministry of Culture threatened the closure of this annual event. The mandate stipulates that profit making shows cannot use volunteers as part of the service. The MP from Libourne met with the Cultural Minister and was re-assured that The Battle is a non-profit making association and falls under a different category.

So we can breathe again. Tickets are already available for this amazing open air show and they are already working with the volunteers that make this impressive event happen.  If you want to take part, or find out more about the Battle of Castillon, visit the website here.
