Hello!
This is the week when you should try and make time to go to
Bordeaux and join in with the Fete de la Fleuve on the waterfront.
The festival opened with an amazing show on the water with fireworks,
lasers and of course boats, yachts and ships. Find out more at the website here
http://www.bordeaux-fete-le-fleuve.com/
or go to their Facebook page Bordeaux Fête le Fleuve.
It only happens every 2 years, so try and find a time to go.
By the way… much discussion has been had about the difference between a ‘fleuve’
and a ‘riviere’… to date, no definitive conclusions have been drawn, but I’m
always open to suggestions.
Whatever you do this week, have a great time in the Gironde
and Dordogne regions.
Best wishes,
Helen
