Castillon Vide grenier

Hello!

We are certainly having a heatwave here in Aquitaine.  The best advice is to stay out of the heat, drink plenty of water and jump in the pool or the shower whenever you get too hot!

The Festi folies in Castillon went well and we visited the vide grenier on the waterfront before the sun was too high in the sky.

Wednesday 22 August

23 August : Night Market in Duras with Punti Cardinali performing Jazz.

23 August 21h : The Sapphires is showing in VO at the Eden at Monsegur. It's 1968, and four young, talented Australian Aboriginal girls learn about love, friendship and war when their all girl group The Sapphires entertain the US troops in Vietnam. Starring Chris O’Dowd, Deborah Mailman and Jessica Mauboy.

23 August : The Chateau de Rauzan is hosting a musical event with Russian Folk Dancers, a selection of guest singers and a taste of Zumba.

24 August : Flaujagues Night Market featuring entertainment by ‘Duo Tamba’.

24 August 21h : 360 is showing in VO at the Eden in Monsegur. A dramatic thriller that weaves together the stories of an array of people from disparate social backgrounds through their intersecting relationships. Starring Jude Law, Rachel Weisz and Anthony Hopkins.

25 August 19h : Dulcimer are playing at Creon as part of the Scenes d’été season. Pour fêter la 106ème Rosière de Créon, le groupe Dulcimer et son répertoire de musiques traditionnelles irlandaises sera de la fête. De plus, un spectacle pyrotechnique viendra ponctuer la soirée.

And for the children - candy floss and sweets galore! All accompanied by local wines from Chateau de Claribes, Chateau Fontana and Chateau Font Vidal. Live music and dancing!
