Week 39 2012

Sax Attitude
Hello!

Lots of musical events in and around the Gironde and Dordogne this week.

Look out for 'Sax Attitude' in Saint Front de Pradoux and 'Barfly Jazz Quintet' in Monsegur.

There really is something for everyone from Carmen, to the Festival of Ancient Music.

The evenings are getting a bit shorter, but still lots to do and see.

Barfly
Have a good week,
Best wishes,
Helen

Coming up…

ITV are coming back to do some more filming the first week in October and I'm looking for some English speakers who would like to participate in a one day workshop (where I show how to make homemade organic clay paints)which they will film.
Anyone interested should contact me at contact@terre-et-toi.com
Thanks !

And finally…

After a conversation over a lovely lunch the other day I thought I’d put together a page for useful helplines in English. EM kindly started with these number below.  If you have any others you can add to the list, that would be great.  I shall also have all these numbers on a page that you can go to directly called ‘Useful phone numbers’. http://notjustfortheholidays.blogspot.fr/p/useful-phone-numbers.html

Telephone number for the English speaking Orange telephone service: 09 69 36 39 00

Telephone number for the English speaking EDF service: 09 69 32 15 15

There is also a number to call for information when there is a power cut: 0810 333 033.
