Week 40 2015

Hello!

Ste Foy was alive with horses this weekend.  There were all sorts from tiny little Thelwell ponies, ponies pulling carriages, great big horses and an ethereal albino horse with ghostly grey eyes (I was mesmerised by that one).

We watched as the blacksmith made and fitted the shoe horses, we saw little children fearlessly race around on horseback and watched the carriage rides passing through the streets.

Combined with the Puces de la Bastide it was good to see the town bustling.

Thelwells!
I can’t find much going on this week in the region, and as always, if you hear of any events or want to share an activity please don’t hesitate to send me details, they are always most  welcome.

Have a great week in the Dordogne and Gironde regions,
Best wishes,
Helen

They look with curiosity and tenderness on their children's confused lives, Mick's enthusiastic young writers, and the other hotel guests. But someone wants at all costs to hear him conduct again.   Starring Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel and Rachel Weisz
