Week 33 2022

 Hello!

It's the last chance to catch the Battle of Castillon this weekend.

There is the new and improved Village Alienor, open from 6:30 p.m. where you will find craftsmen, wooden games, pony rides, refreshments, tastings, stage shows, combat demonstrations, food, animals, plus the friendly restaurant.  It's a great event if you haven't caught it yet this summer. www.batailledecastillon.com

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time.
Best wishes,
Helen

Week 32 2022

Hello!

Just after this weekend we have one of the four set Catholic holidays in France (can you name the others?)  It celebrates the day when Mary was taken from her earthly life to enter into the life of God.  It also falls in the middle of the summer, so a great time for an extra bit of holiday!  Especially as this year it's a Thursday, giving those who aren't on holiday, the chance to Faire le pont!

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time.

Best wishes,
Helen
