Looking at the dreary rain outside the window what could be more inviting than the opportunity to dress up and go to the races?  

On Friday 4 November Jacquie Houston de Robillard is organising a Charity Night at the Races in aid of  Les Enfants de Ya. Held at Chateau Tour du Pas Saint-Georges the evening starts at 6.30pm with time to visit the chai, check out the horse races and buy the all important ya-ya dollars.

The races start at 7.30pm.  Place your bets... watch the races... and win big!!

Hello!

69 days to Christmas and the decorations are out at the brocantes whilst the people browse in short sleeves...

We had a lovely week in the sunshine - long may it continue.

Autumn events with plant swaps and sales, concerts and exhibitions to visit. There's plenty to do, even balloon rides in St Emilion.

Have a busy week, and listen out for the first Christmas music on the radio, it can't be long now!!!  :)

Amazing, this is the 20th Newsletter, where are the weeks going?

We had a good visit to the brocante in Rauzan - once on Friday to have a look round and then again on Sunday to haggle for the things that were still there!  Thank you to Jeanette for her photos (they're so much better than mine)

Looks like next weekend (or is it this weekend Peter?) is all about Beer festivals and Loto.  You never know, you could win half a pig...

8 October 10h: We are having an introduction day for people who would like to get to know the new Golf at St Meard.
We will start at 10 with a few balls on the driving range, just to get our swing going and then on to the 9 holes course.
People should bring their own picnic and if they want to they can play again in the afternoon.
The price is 15€ and the 'aperitif' is offered at the end of the day by the vignoble de MONTRAVEL.
