There is a Christmas Market at the Salle Polyvalente in Mouliets et Villemartin on Saturday 18 November and I'll be there with my ceramics! Last chance to buy before Christmas as I'm only doing that one market!
Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time and please let me know if you hear of any other Christmas markets in the region.

Curry lovers.....The Secret Curry Club Dordogne will be hosting a 'Christmas Curry Night' in Port St Foy on December 5th. Its our little curry clubs 1st birthday too, so I may have a few pressies for you lovely curry clubbers. We had our very first curry club night in December 2016 in St Foy, so it will be lovely to celebrate our first year, (almost) back where we started. Hopefully we'll see you there.
And finally...
It's the time of year to get your winter flu jab. I went to collect mine, the usual proceedure being that firstly I go and collect it from the pharmacy, then I make an appointment to have the jab on another day. This usually means that the flu jab sits for a couple of weeks in my fridge until I remember to get part 2 sorted.But not any more...hooray! This year I went and collected it from the pharmacy in Castillon and they gave me the jab there and then. No more making an appointment elsewhere, no more injection lurking in the fridge - a one stop medical proceedure! Long may progress continue!
Bravo Pharmacy Les Halles in Castillon for taking on this pilot scheme. And for my part, one of the least painful injections I've ever had!
