Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend with lots of eggs. If chocolate eggs are not the only kind you like, then you should make your way to Gensac for the Chicken fair next weekend. There will be plenty of hens to see and also to buy.

The Brocante at Rauzan went well, but I didn’t come home with any super bargains this time. The Vide greniers and village brocantes are already starting – apparently the one at Le Pizou next weekend is a big one.

Congratulations to Pinueilh Pitchers – we watched them win their baseball match this afternoon!

Finally, Les Guinots in Flaujagues have their Portes Ouvertes during the month of April. Go along, have a taste and they have some good bargains too.

April 13 20h30 : in the church at St Laurent des Hommes (24), a concert of classical music with, in the first half, Dan Jones (Prof de guitare at l'Ecole de Musique de St Laurent des Hommes) and the second half will be the first public concert by 'Sax Attitude', a saxophone quartet also affiliated to the music school. Entry free though monetary contributions can be made on the way out.
