Week 51 2014

Hello!

twinkly lights
a decorated tree
I love Christmas trees and twinkly lights, but I don’t like pine needles on the floor, and spending the whole holiday season at war with the cats as they try and climb the tree!  So here are a couple of our tree solutions.

How are you all getting on with the decorating?

Whatever you do this week, have a great festive time in the Gironde and Dordogne regions.

Best wishes,
Helen

Week 51 2014

Christmas markets at Chateau Font Vidal in Juillac, and of course the big one in Bordeaux.  I haven’t found any information about a Christmas Market in Bergerac, so if you know of one, please let me know.

Tuesday 16 December

16 December 14h15 & 20h15 : Men, Women & Children is showing in VO in Libourne at the Grandecran.
Men, Women and Children follows the story of a group of high school teenagers and their parents as they attempt to navigate the many ways the internet has changed their relationships, their communication, their self-image, and their love lives. The film attempts to stare down social issues such as video game culture, anorexia, infidelity, fame hunting, and the proliferation of illicit material on the internet. As each character and each relationship is tested, we are shown the variety of roads people choose - some tragic, some hopeful - as it becomes clear that no one is immune to this enormous social change that has come through our phones, our tablets, and our computers.  Starring Kaitlyn Dever, Rosemarie DeWitt and Ansel Elgort

16 December 14h15: Mr Turner  is showing in VO at the Grandecran in Libourne.
