Week 42 2021

 Hello!

There was a fabulous Balloon Festival in St Emilion last weekend.  Every evening and morning there were balloons hovering over the village.  The weather was beautiful and the balloons could be seen from miles around.  This beautiful photo was taken from the window of Le Jardin restaurant in St Emilion.

School holidays start this weekend and we don't know how much longer this beautiful weather will last.  Whatever you do in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great week.

Week 27 2020

Hello!

Our favourite hidden riverside pizza restaurant reopens tonight for the summer.  The closed road from Castillon makes access via Mouliets necessary, but on the plus side, there's next to no traffic and uninterrupted views of the river.

Follow the signs from Mouliets et Villemartin if you're coming from Castillon for the best woodfired pizza in town!

Whatever you do in the region over the coming week, have a great time.  Remember, wash your hands and keep safe.
