Week 24 2022

 Hello!

We headed over to Sadirac to visit the Pottery festival.  Lovely to meet other potters and to talk about all things clay, discover talented artists and see just how many different techniques and clays there are.

With over 40 stands we were completely absorbed.  Next up is to find a Raku workshop to join to try out some fire pit magic!

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time.
It's going to be a hot one, so keep those shutters closed and take care.
Best wishes,
Helen

Week 24

The Fete de music is traditionally on 21 June (the longest day) and some places are celebrating on this weekend, and some on the following weekend.  Not many are doing anything on the actual date.

And finally...🎨🖌

There's a pottery workshop in Sauveterre on Saturday. Come and make a painting pallet.  The beautiful white clay makes a perfect base for a colour mixing pallet.  We use them all the time in studio, so why not come along and make one for yourself.  They're perfect for all types of coloured paints.

1 hour workshop, €10/person, that includes all the materials and the firing.  Call me or message, to book a place. 0630898536

Week 23 2022

Hello!

I love all things pottery, so I'm looking forward to the Sadirac Pottery festival this weekend. A group of keen clay bashers from Sauveterre will be heading there this week, destined to meet other mud makers and talk all things ceramic.

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time.

Best wishes,
Helen
