Week 2 2024

Hello and Happy New Year!

January in France welcomes the Winter Sales.

In 2024 the winter sales start Wednesday 10th of January, for 4 weeks, i.e until the 6th of February.  The Sales generally launch with a 30% discount on items, and as the weeks roll on, they progressively slash the bargains 50% , 60% until in the final weeks there will be the final reductions maybe even 85% on anything that may be left.

So, if you're looking to bag a bargain - now's the time.

Whatever you do in the Gironde or Dordogne region, keep warm and have a good week.

Best wishes,
Helen

And finally...

The Saturday pottery calendar is out for the next 3 months.  However, if you see something that catches your imagination and you can't make the dates, or would like to bring a group of friends on another day, then drop me a message and we can sort something out.

Week 2 2022

Week 2

Coming up...

And finally...

I'm wondering if you could help me? I'm looking for a stool to use in my pottery studio with my new wheel.  I picked up my current one from a brocante or vide grenier, years ago and it's just perfect.

Excuse the quality of the photos... I cropped them from the back of workshop snaps.  If you know where I could find one similar, I'd be delighted to hear from you, or if you see one on your day-to-day in the region, please let me know.  There is a post in the middle that screws up and down to adjust the height of the seat and I have a feeling that it might have originated from Ikea (but not in that colour)

Many thanks in advance. Helen 😊
