Hello,
Thank you for all the hairdresser recommendations – all
gratefully received. Not that anyone got to see my hair this weekend with the
rain that we had. It didn’t stop play
too much on Sunday, and by the time we arrived at Chateau Belcier for Brunch
the sun was pushing through the clouds.
What a lovely setting, overlooking the slopes of Castillon, tasting wine
and listening to Jazz – my kind of Sunday.

Next weekend is the Journees and Nuit du Patrimoine
(Heritage days and nights) where monuments throughout France are open to the
public for free, and there is always a magnificent music and firework show in
St Emilion. Make your way to the centre
of the village and you will have a treat of a free display starting at around
