Week 24 2021

 Hello!

Are you looking for something to do on Saturday? I have a wind-chime workshop in Sauveterre.  Make a cute bell chime to hang up and catch the wind.

Absolutely no clay experience necessary, I'll guide you through the build and you can decorate it as you fancy, there's no limit to the imagination.  Call ahead to book a place in one of the 1 hour sessions on Saturday 19 June, 10h - 12h / 14h - 17h. €8/person.

Whatever you do this weekend in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, keep safe and well and have a good time.

Best wishes,
Helen

And finally...

The Maison des Artisans in Sauveterre where I have my pottery studio has a new art exhibition in the recently updated vaulted cellar.  We're starting small, with the beautiful art works by Armandine.

The exhibition is available to view from Saturday 19 June through to September. Find out more about her work on Facebook

Week 23 2021

 Hello!

The great news is that we can really get out and about again, restaurants and bars can serve inside and out, and fairs and sports events can go ahead.  But most exciting is that friends and family can start coming over to visit again.  Here's a helpful infochart from the Buzz Magazine.

I've had my second dose of vaccine, so I'm ready and raring to get busy again.

If you missed the update, we have a collaboration 2 hour workshop his weekend at the Maison des Artisans in Sauveterre.  Make a calabash box with a pottery lid. Contact me for more information, or to book a place.

We're putting together a great summer program at the Maison des Artisans - so if you're looking for an activity to do with friends and family, watch this space for workshop updates.

Whatever you do this week, keep taking care, and get out there and support your local businesses.

Best wishes,
Helen

And finally...

We did really well with our cherry tree for the first time, in a year when many people lost theirs.  Maybe it's because we have a yellow variety. They are delicious and very big!
