Week 10 2024

 Hello!

It's Carnival in Sauveterre this weekend,  the theme is Asterix and Obelix at the Olympic Games.  So, here's a sneak peak of part of the Maison des Artisans Olympic chariot...

Fingers crossed that the afternoon will be dry... come and say Hello!  You could be a medal winner!

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a great time,
Best wishes,
Helen

And finally...

I love the daffodils in the garden.  Next Saturday, 16th March, we're making daffodils in the pottery studio.  You can hang them up, or attach them to a stick and place them in a pot.  The centres are left unglazed so that you can dot it with essential oils to perfume the room.
Contact me if you'd like to book a place, or make it on another day - gather a group of friends and enjoy creating together. ☎ 06 30 89 85 36

Week 9 2024

 Hello!

We did have on day of glorious sunshine this week, and it was a perfect day for the Bordeaux Aquitaine Classic Rallye which hadn't put in an appearance for a couple of years.

Many thanks to SP for her beautiful photos.  The rallye cars whizzed right past her front gate on the way to their classes.

Whatever you do this week in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, have a good week - we've had an extra day this month to get everything done! 😀
Best wishes,
Helen

Week 8 2024

 Hello,

Those few sunny days have turned into stormy ones - possibly because I washed my car (take note WS!)

However, not before plenty of cranes had been spotted flying overhead.  There's a wonderful website where you can keep up to date with their travels - just click here.

I love hearing their distinctive sound, then heading outside to watch them circle over the river, then reform their 'V' flying formation, and continue on their journey.

Whatever you do in the Gironde and Dordogne regions, keep warm and dry and have a good week.
Best wishes,
Helen

And finally...

I've been experimenting with new colours to add to my 'Mocha' range.  I rather like this caramel colour on these coffee tumblers.
